“ It’s simply the best Mexican food around. It’s been in business over 50 years. It’s connected to its Mexican store. It’s also home to the Casa Lupe tortilla factory. They also have a mini tortilla machine right there in the restaurant that kicks out fresh tortillas. You will love their food. It all starts with the chips and salsa. The friendly staff is the best. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday you will get free soup if you order a main entree if soup is available. They will offer you a free cup. They make the best soup in the entire north state. I love their food and I have since I was a little kid in all started in Live Oak. But we lost them to Gridley. They are well worth the drive people drive all over to go to this restaurant. There is a banquet room if you need to reserve one. It’s great for birthdays or family get-togethers even if you need it. Just talk to the management ahead of time. It’s a great place to eat in their food is always fresh. ”
